Espiritu school principal Veronica slain, pastor Father Len, mayor of safety harbor Joe Ayoub and Mr. Rob Fleege: Director of Outreach, Office of Hon. Gus M. Bilirakis, M.C. 12th District, Florida

Thank you for visiting our website and for your interest in Espiritu Santo Catholic School. As you explore you will see that we are a very active school and church community that provides a myriad of opportunities for our students to excel and grow academically, spiritually and socially.

It is a great time to be an Espiritu Santo Patriot as we have just earned the 2019 National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence award from the US Department of Education. To earn the award, we had to engage the entire community, reflect on our daily practices and articulate our vision of excellence. In addition, our students had to achieve scores in the top 15% in the country on standardized assessments in math and English. It took a great deal of hard work, determination and collaboration from students, faculty, staff, parents and the support of our parish to achieve this distinction and it has energized our entire school community.

Each day here at Espiritu Santo our students enter a nurturing and engaging environment where they are genuinely welcomed by all. Our teachers take time to build strong, trusting relationships with students and support their learning and development with well-developed, meaningful learning opportunities every day. There is a true sense of belonging and safety here at Espiritu Santo which is the foundation for authentic learning. The instinct to serve others is instilled in our students and they have opportunities to take on leadership roles at every grade level. Respect, responsibility and kindness are at the core of our beliefs and daily interactions. Our graduates leave here with the poise, confidence, knowledge and determination to succeed in high school and beyond. They also leave knowing that they are loved and will forever be a part of the Espiritu Santo community.

I invite you to visit and see for yourself the true spirit and culture of our wonderful school. Meet our teachers and students, visit our classrooms and envision your child happily engaged in learning and building friendships with us. Come see for yourself the possibilities!

Peace & love,
Veronica Slain
